Art Division is deeply connected to the neighborhood it stands in. This week in the spirit of service and connection volunteers gathered to put together pairs of socks, make sandwiches, and write cards for the large contingent of day laborers who gather waiting for work a few blocks away. I was lucky enough to photograph the preparations and seeing the shape the morning took I thought these pictures might make a meditation on the little things we can do and the joy we get when we do them.
